30 days of Blogging: Someone I care about.

love youThe prompt for this post was “Write about someone or something you care about.”  Which, seems easy, until you think about it.  There are a blue million things and people I care about that I could write on.  Should I tell you all about how awesome my cats are, or maybe write a post on how important regulations for clean air and water are to our environment?  Or, I could go on for days about how I’m passionate about music and how I believe that, if the world paid more attention to music, everyone would be a little bit happier.  But, then I realized that there was really only one person or thing I could truly write about, and that’s J.

J is my husband, for those of you who are new to the blog.  We’ve been married 6 years this past May, and together for 8 years this past March.  He’s my rock, my better half, and definitely the analytical thinker in this marriage.  From the moment I met him, I knew that he would be someone very special to me, though obviously I had no way of knowing just how special he would become.  The day he asked me to marry him was one of the happiest of my life, and even though he proposed only four months after meeting, I knew that it was meant to be and I’ve never had a single regret.  I can’t even begin to describe how important J is to me, and how much I love him.  He’s my biggest cheerleader when I need it, and the voice of reason when I’m headed down one of my harebrained paths.  While my life without him would still be livable, he adds so much that life WITH him is, by far, way better.

So, when it comes down to it, J is probably the epitome of the most important person in my life.  He’s someone I love and respect deeply, and can’t imagine my life without.  I look forward to the rest of our lives together, and the adventures that we’ll have!  Who is that special someone or something that you care about?

Much love,
K.
