I keep waiting for that moment when I don’t wake up and want a Diet Mountain Dew. I’ve been told the cravings will go away, but I sure wish they’d go away quicker than they have been (which is a snail’s pace, for sure). It’s a personal pride thing…I’ve told myself I can go 30 days without it, so now I will do it…but there are times I feel like an idiot for even making this bet with myself! Oy.
Day 4: Slow and steady wins the race. No crankiness, no headaches, no outward signs of any sort of caffeine withdrawal. However, I’d still like to taste the sweet nectar that is the Mtn. Dew.
